About Janice Lynne Deitner
Dr Janice Lynne Deitner recently completed her PhD on bodies of knowledge in Shirley Jackson’s American contexts. She is currently an Assistant Editor for the Irish Journal of Gothic and Horror Studies and is also a co-organiser of “Reading Shirley Jackson in the Twenty-First Century,” an online hub, publication, and event series focusing on the work of Shirley Jackson. Her research interests include Twentieth Century American literature, Twenty-First Century North American Horror, popular literature periodicals, and the exploration of generic hybridity (particularly the intersection of Horror, the Gothic, and Science Fiction).
