About Clair A. Sheehan
Clair A. Sheehan completed her PhD at the University of Limerick. Her doctoral thesis focused on the impact that the 9/11 terrorist attacks have had on American literature, particularly how these attacks were revisited and rewritten by US novelists, and under what ideological constrictions. Her research interests centre on American writers whose work engages with the political. Clair is the MSAC instructor of English at the University of Limerick. Her publications include “Excavating The Lacuna: Barbara Kingsolver’s Allegorical Understanding of America’s Post-9/11 World,” European Journal of American Culture (2017).
