About Melissa L. Baird
Melissa L. Baird completed her Ph.D. in History at Queen’s University, Belfast, in 2023. Her thesis examined the relationship between Irish America and the Northern Irish civil rights movement in the 1960s and early 1970s. Melissa is currently the Special Projects Co-Ordinator at The Linen Hall, Belfast, where she curates exhibitions on contemporary Northern Irish history. Melissa’s broader research interests include cultural and political movements in twentieth-century Ireland and the United States.
