About Christian O'Connell
Christian O’Connell is a Senior Lecturer in American social, cultural and political history at the University of Gloucestershire, focusing on African American history from slavery to Black Power. His past reviews have appeared in, for example, the Journal of American Studies, and his book Blues, How Do You Do? was published by the University of Michigan Press in 2015.
