Andrew Clarke is a PhD student at Maynooth University, part-funded by the John and Pat Hume Doctoral Award. His thesis is on hybridity and ambiguity in the writing and photography of Teju Cole. He holds an MA in Literatures of Engagement from Maynooth University.
